We will be making a frame to hold the chicken wire. Cut your wood at 45 deg. angles with the groove to the inside. We need 4 sides the top and bottoms are 20 3/8" and the sides are 18 ¾”. Make sure these measurements will work with your fan.
There should be 8 of each size. Line up each corner and drill a pilot hole for your nail or just use a nail gun if you have one. Add some wood glue where the two pieces meet and hammer the finishing nail in. Repeat this on each corner. The nail will hold the corners in place while the glue dries. Nail pictured below.
