- Now insert the chicken wire into the frames.
- Put a washer and end cap nut on both dowels insert them into your designated spot on the fan, add one more washer on each dowel. Thread on the 1" spacer on each dowel and add one more washer to each of them. This will keep the chicken wire from resting on the fan which I found puts pressure on the fan blades.
